Doubting that she is who she claims, Gaunt must discover the truth while fending off enemy troops and lethal assassins. But treachery within the Ghosts will not only threaten the mission, but rip the Tanith asunder.

Dan Abnett is a fantastic storyteller. While I would sometimes struggle to keep account of people and their names, he paints a vivid picture of what's going on with a keen sense of how to bring elements together to a climax. Toby Longworth performed greatly too in his readings and has improved over various audiobooks.

This is my most re-listened to series on audible. The original material is brilliant and Toby's performances really bring everything together. Please keep them coming and please rerecord and complete the set with Toby as narrator!

Too bad they won't publish the books in proper sequence to prevent spoilers from later stories they have allready released here.
