The company went too far.

What started as a simple sim soon showed signs of crossing over, of opening a rift to the afterlife. But that's not all. Parts of that world are coming our way, and what used to be worlds for the dead are changing...evolving?

Well, obviously this is just my opinion… but certainly a first & last for this genre for me ! I don’t really know why I gave it a try other than I can sometimes find a little gem where I least expected to find it)- especially as from the beginning , the narrators ‘agitated sounding’ voice got to me like chalk /nails on a black board.

As ‘books’ go , i found this mostly cringeworthy ( imagine a male adolescents fantasy) with its unimaginative use of language & and occasional derogatory sexual slang.

I gave it almost an hour which was way too generous. This may have developed into an amazing listen later on - but I’d had enough.

I’m now going to wash my ears out , make a coffee and go back to the decent authors.
