I am disappointed in this book. I was delighted when I found a book of Mandasue Heller,s I had never read. I suffered this boring story until chapter twelve and had to give up on it. I was starting to get annoyed at wasting money on this rubbish.

As always another great book by Mandasue Heller. Listened in car too and from work which made the journey very enjoyable .

Dialogue was boring,cheesy and juvenile for a story that’s apparently “a gritty story about manchesters underworld” I honestly think this could have been written by a teenager. Narrator was not good, she did the ‘Manchester’ accents like they were from Yorkshire which made me cringe and I’m sure she read it out completely wrong from what the writer intended. Characters weren’t likeable, bland, nothing to them. Wasn’t gripping. Seems like it was half arsed and rushed. No deep dive into the characters. Pretty terrible to be honest. Save your credit

Having read all of the authors previous books I must say this one was a huge let down. A massively drawn out story line that didn't go anywhere. Don't bother!
