About this listen

Gussie Fink-Nottle can't quite find the pluck to ask the girl of his dreams to marry him. He consults Jeeves of course. But Bertie, feeling his lemon just as supple as his manservant's, steps in and takes over the case. What follows is a torrent of hilarious hijinks, as only PG Wodehouse can deliver.

Completely unsuitable narrator ruined this for me so I returned it. The whole point of Wooster and Jeeves is the dialogue and silly stories, but the narrator sounds nothing like an English gentleman - either in accent or tone. All became clear when I realised the he was American - trying and failing to do English posh. I’m sure he’s good at other books, but this was awful.
