About this listen

The audiobook that all Shatter Me fans have been waiting for is finally here. The fourth incredible instalment of Tahereh Mafi's New York Times best-selling young-adult fantasy series perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Victoria Aveyard's The Red Queen, Stranger Things and Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows.

The girl with the power to kill with a single touch now has the world in the palm of her hand.

Juliette Ferrars thought she'd won. She took over Sector 45, was named Supreme Commander and now has Warner by her side. But when tragedy strikes, she must confront the darkness that dwells both around and inside her.

Tahereh Mafi is the New York Times best-selling author of the Shatter Me series which has been published in more than 30 languages around the world. She was born in a small city somewhere in Connecticut and currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with her husband, Ransom Riggs, fellow best-selling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and their young daughter. She can usually be found overcaffeinated and stuck in a book.

Really enjoying this whole series so far. I was all for Aaron and Juliette so I was a bit gutted when things took a bad turn for them but I’m hoping they can still make it back to each other. The plot is expanding and we are seeing so much of what happened to Juliette in the past.i cannot wait for to start the next instalment

Enjoyed the story but would’ve preferred a single narrator, it’s quite jarring having the female narrator’s version of Warner suddenly switched to a male version. Not only that but the male narrator clearly has a cold / blocked sinuses throughout the whole performance which is really off putting (I thought it was just how he sounds but in the next book he speaks normally), his attempts at female voices are quite cringey but I managed to make it through the entire book which eventually picks up pace in the final quarter and ends on a cliff hanger.

Enjoyed the plot twists
