After picking up the Tbate story where the comics ended by starting to read the novels this is the best one by far. My favourite book, which was brought to life by the amazing voice acting.

As always very good, the only part I didn't like was when Niko survived. That I found stupid, the character is boring and always angry. He should have been left behind.

As of 12 minute ago I have now read/listened to book 9, 10 time in total. And everytime I listen or read this masterpiece I feel like I've been saved from my miserable, day to day life.

wishing I could forget everything about The beginning after the end series and just read it from the beginning without knowing what's going to happen.

Awesome stuff like all the other books.

This story has actual stakes. People die, disappear, are crippled etc. This is mostly a good thing but I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me somewhat anxious. I’m too invested in the well being of these fictional characters to the point where the POV chapters for Tess make me physically ill. I desperately hope for a happy ending, and the lacking plot armor is keeping me on edge (in a good way). Just please let there be a light at the end of the tunnel, and give Arthur’s mom a rest.
