Although this book didn't heem ave as much as the deep emotional trauma as the first two, it had impact, and I'm sure it will hard on multiple levels for many!

I found that both Garrett and Reece had fairly unlikable characteristics. Her immaturity, stubbornness, and disloyalty were unattractive. But so was his selfishness, self-righteousness, and spite! They didn't seem to have empathy or compassion.🥺

The storyline felt much longer than the previous books. I, personally, didn't think this couple deserved it, as I liked them the least.🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm still not a fan of the female narrator, I'm afraid.😕

This wasn't my favourite book. The writing was good. The storyline wasn't 'cup of tea', though.

I loved everything about this book, from Samantha Christy’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who brought it all to life from the pages to my ears. I am a huge fan of rock star romance novels and this series easily became one of my top favorites, each book features a different member of “Reckless Alibi” and stand’s on its own but I highly recommend starting with the first book and enjoying them in order, not only are they outstanding stories but it is great to watch them rise in the industry and make it big plus some characters appearing all the books and it is beneficial to know their back story. This third book is Garrett and Reece’s story, Garrett is the drummer and Reece is the girl who broke his heart. They have not seen each other in six years, but when Reece hears a song she wrote on the radio, she was pissed and took legal action against Reckless Alibi. Garrett is still angry with Reece for what she had done to him, he remembers or rather does not remember who really created the song, the lawyers and the label come up with a solution, paid royalties and Reece gets to perform the song while on tour and gets to be an opening act. She has always wanted to be a musician but has not caught her big break yet and this is her chance. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story with alternating timelines giving you a glimpse into their past showing how Reece and Garrett met, their relationship they had and what went so wrong that Garrett is so angry with her. There is never a dull moment in this fabulous second chance romance, it has plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot loving. Besides Garrett and Reece’s romance, there are storylines involving band drama and updates on the bandmates and their relationships with their significant others, another reason to enjoy the first two books before this one. Samantha Christy, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride, it was great to catch up with all the previous characters as well.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon are mega talented narrators, versatile voice artists and fabulously entertaining storytellers. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I pictured the character to sound. Jason Clarke rocked it as Garrett and as a rocker, Erin Mallon did the same for Reece, both were great performing the roles of all the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. Thank you for another exceptional listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Oh this storyline is brilliant. Samantha has written such a great book, the characters are wonderful and complicated. With a few twists along the way. I definitely have a new favourite narration duo. Erin and Jason give a fantastic performance.

What an amazing book and audio! I loved Garrett and Reece's story with its complications, issues and their past. The past is revealed cleverly and weaves into the story beautifully. My heart bled for both of them. Again, Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke were truly wonderful narrators. Their ability to pull you into the story is magical. I have not been able to stop listening. 💖💖💖💖💖
