like all language lessons you must review them over and over. This one I have listened many times and I'm still not bored with it. Language isn't easy for me, but at least this Earworms didn't bore me.

again and again

Surprisingly good learning.

I sometimes use the audio-book just for relaxed listening.

Very Enjoyable Learning

I was almost put off by the previous reviewers but as the reviews of the other earworms products were generally good, I thought I'd give it a try.

I have been listened to Volume 1 on my ipod and am already finding myself coming out with the phrases.
Its really going well!

The voices and music are very pleasant which helps to take your mind off trying too hard and the lady's accent and voice is pleasant. The rhythmic repetitions really help my to memorize the words and phrases.

A great product!!!

Pleasantly surprised !

Imagine a cheap, cheesy Moscow club, playing bad synth music that could be from the backing track of a CBBC documentary. Then imagine a sleazy man from Surrey flirting with a Russian girl who laughs at his bad jokes because she's after his money. Then imagine the acting, scripting and production values of a CBBC documentary.

I love the idea of using music to aid learning, and if it actually worked it'd be possible to laugh through or ignore the cheesiness. For me at least, it didn't. They have the Russian first then the English, so my brain filters out what the Russian lass says, because when I hear it I have no idea what she's saying, then the sleazy Surrey man tapes over any lingering traces of memory for it that I might have. To be fair, the music rhythm thing kind of works - I have a really clear memory of Mr Woking saying "I would like..." "I would like..." in a clear south-east accent.

If you're Russian, you want to learn English and you have a good sense of humour, you'll enjoy this and will probably learn a bit from it. I'm not convinced it works the other way around.

So bad it's hillarious
