I used this to refresh my basic knowledge of the language and found the style easy to listen to. I remembered a lot of the phrases too, so would recommend. Also bought the second in the series.

I am hooked. I downloaded volume 1 and 2 of Italian, French & Spanish in order to brush up languages I had previously learned to varying degrees. I am already wondering what language to attack next! I travel a lot with work and have the audiobooks on as I'm driving around and am already memorising words and phrases that I'd either forgotten or never knew. I don't feel that I need a book, although I have downloaded the accompanying pdf files for reference. Almost everything I can pick up straight from the recording - just as language is acquired naturally by children - listening and repeating.

Really enjoyed this audio book and have listened to it multiple times. Whilst working from home I would play this in the background and I found myself picking up and understanding the phrases without really trying.

The only additional I really need, is the option to buy a book for each volume. I need to see the words in order to be sure of pronunciation and to assist with how each how links etc.

You must listen a lot, but it does seem to work. I would be happy ordering in a restaurant or bar now, as book 1 will get me through a holiday.

I am one of those people who know the lyrics to music, not because I particularly like the song, but just because they are set to music, so this way of learning French really worked for me.

really like these audio books became they easy to understand. Repeated but not too much.
Narrative is easy to understand and clear, music adds a little touch I just enjoy. Can listen anytime and anywhere.

Like any of the language courses, you get out what you put in. This course uses a music background with a native and English speaker going over French phrases and words. The course tends to provide a sentence, in English, and then in French and then breaks down all the words in the sentence, and the pronunciations for the words. The course is similar to the other earworms courses, and if you liked one of the others I imagine you'll like this one.



It's not a bad idea, although the tunes are not that great, I find that I can recall some of the sentences. A good supplement for learning, or for a quick fix before heading on holiday but it is not a good standalone course.
