This book is excellent. I have been a Christian for many years, but never really heard any sound teaching on godly living. Jerry Bridges pulls together many scriptures to not only explain about practising godliness in your life but motivates you to strive for it, being fully dependant on God, but also fully responsible to seek to attain it.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to grow deeper in their faith and understanding of God's word, whilst developing a closer relationship with God. It is very practical and has a study section at the end, of the paper copy of the book, to help you explore and think deeper about how to practice godliness in your own life.
