The whole story just feels like it goes around in circles and has no kind of trouble for the MC whatsoever.
Guys rebelling in a alien race? Oh, lets just let them capture us. Not like they can kill us or anything...
There was no challenge to the story, turning it into a bad slice-of-life book with sci-fi characters.
