The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

What made the experience of listening to Perfect Imperfections the most enjoyable?
This is such a beautiful character lead story with incredibly real and likeable main characters that are so well written the reader/listener genuinely feels like they know the men! The story develops so beautifully from a random meeting to genuine warm friendship that eventually becomes more, once Jeremy discovers things he never knew about himself! Jeremy is a Rock Star born to famous parents who grew up in the glare of the media but never had a real friend, and Reggie is just a regular guy who is everything Jeremy needs. Reggie is such an amiable guy, everyone should have a Reggie in their lives.A thoroughly lovely book, narrated beautifully by Charlie David, this is a real feel-good story!

How did the narrator detract from the book?
I love this story, at least when reading it but the voices between the MCs weren't distinguishable and that made it difficult to understand who was talking if you aren't familiar with the story.Any additional comments?
The song in the beginning and between the chapters was ANNOYING!!! I didn't care for the music, which every time I heard it I thought I was going to listen to a Scorpions song, and the lyrics were meeeeh!Can't distinguish between the MCs
