About this listen

A BRAND-NEW story from #1 multi-million-copy bestseller Shari Low 💫=

Would you give up your dreams for love?

1990: In a hot, humid Hong Kong summer, three young singers are loving life, performing to packed crowds every night in a swanky hotel bar. Twenty-three-year-old Scottish songbird, Moira Chiles is living the dream alongside Carina Lloyd and Lisa Dixon. They work hard, play hard, and always stick together… until one day Moira has to make a choice that changes everything.

Fast forward to…

2025: In a wet, chilly, Glasgow summer, Moira has just retired after singing in Glasgow pubs and Caribbean cruise ships for three decades. Now she’s ready for a new adventure – one that takes her to Hong Kong to revisit a world she left behind. Moira hasn’t seen Carina or Lisa for over thirty years, but will an invitation to join her on a holiday of a lifetime rekindle the friendships that changed her life? Or will stepping back in time expose secrets that could break their hearts?

#1 bestseller Shari Low is back with her brilliant new release about love, loss, friendship and second chances.

Wow! This book was absolutely incredible! Beautifully narrated & such a heartfelt yet uplifting story. I usually only listen to Rom coms so this was a bit different but I’m so glad I found it! There were so many lol moments but also raw emotion. All very well delivered. Makes you realise that you have to get out there & enjoy life! Highly recommend ! I didn’t want it to end!! X

Took me right back to the What if,now, next trilogy (my faves) Jumping backwards and forwards, so much nostalgia and wisdom wrapped up in a beautiful moving tale. And I'm sure Helen can't be human with the way she brings these characters to life! I knew Kelly's voice before it confirmed who was speaking which is crazy because its been years since her story for me. Amazing talented women, thank you for being such a good escape!

Yes she's done it again! Another belter

I am amazed at the talent for storytelling Shari Low possesses. You think surely she can’t reach the highs of her previous books, or surpass them, but trust me she can and does. Amazing, her latest offering brings past and present together, after a loss to Stevie that leads her down her mother’s memory lane. A lane she had no idea existed. She travels a trip her mother had planned to meet her friends from the 90s in Hong Kong, Moira and Carina.
It's an absolute breeze of a read, raw, emotional, gripping and a real page turner.
5 Stars for One More Day of Us.

No other author that I have read/listened to can make you feel how Shari Low does. The characters feel like friends and family and all emotions are felt with them, through every book. This one is no different.
The author/narrator combination works perfectly and I hope this does not change in future books.
If you like Shari's previous books, this is another that you will love.

All of the emotions wrapped up in one book.

So very much enjoyed this story! I hope we get to read more about this group of characters and the story continues. I think this is my favourite Shari Low book and I’ve listened to them all!

Wow! Loved loved loved!

As always with Shari Low books, the narration is excellent. How Helen McAlpine manages all those different accents is amazing. But this is down to the excellent characterisation written by the author. When I start a new story I always think oo I want to hear about characters I have met before but I soon fall in love with the new ones I meet. And I love that so very very often they are strong realistic women. How they all interweave is as brilliant as always. If you are a fan of Shari Low you will love this.

Falling in love with new characters
