I have listened to all 5 books in this series over the past month. They have all been very enjoyable & I hope there will be more books featuring DS Hart, DI Morgan, Rick & Sophie.

I have had to replay several chapters as the narrator's voice makes me switch off. The story is not bad at all.
The narrator has a very sharp toned voice, and when 'acting' any emotion becomes quite shrill. I'm afraid I will avoid her in future

Suspension and brilliant

This is another excellent book by DS Butler in the Karen Hart series. However, I don’t know what was wrong but I did not really like the narrators voice it is quite off putting but a bit better when I slowed it down. The story is so good though that I did listen to the end!

I really enjoyed this D.I Hart book and glad we finally got the answers as to who was responsible for the ongoing questions throughout…. So very sad in parts though 😩 Also I cannot understand people’s issue with the narrator as she has not changed throughout the book series and remains consistent to the characters and story. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though I guess
