I loved the way the author presses the characters in the book.I also think that the story is so important to the overall effect of this book

A solid college hockey romance. I think it was just a bit too long, but since the characters were very lovable and their connection so sweet I also couldn't stop listening.
The narrators did a good job, though I did find the female narrator to be a bit sharp and high-pitched at times. However, the narration was solid and I felt the bond between Chase and Bailey that much deeper listening.

Solid college romance but really didn’t need to be this long. I found myself willing it to end even though on the whole I enjoyed the story

The first half was far better, still i really enjoyed it. if you liked Icebreaker I'd definitely recommend.

Loved the book. Great college hockey romance that’s very different from others. Loved chase he is a perfect hockey boyfriend. Loved the enemies to friends to lovers. Strong friendships in the book. Really enjoyed it especially since I am new to Avery as an author. Quite lengthy.

I love me an angsty, college, sports romance, and this doesn’t disappoint.

Bailey is definitely treated badly by her very soon to be ex bf, so she isn’t really in the mood when she meets Chase the star of her college’s rival hockey team, and he tries to chat her up. She has more than she should to drink and Chase ends up making sure she doesn’t come to harm. They meet again and Chase decides Bailey needs a friend, and possibly a fake BF and their relationship goes from there.

There is drama galore in this, we have mean girls, a creepy arrogant ex, gorgeous hockey player heroes, with some humour and angst along the way. And of course there’s a happy ever after.

Worth a credit.

Loved listening to this one, chase and baileys story. Features everything, rival teams, love, heartbreak, stalker, tension…. And lots of spice!

This was a great story, and very enjoyable, though it did find it lose pacing in a few spots and I couldn't understand some of the characters motives and reactions to situations in certain circumstances. I'd probably rate it 7/10.

Enjoyable, but a bit long

Compelling story with two fantastic lead characters that you invest in. Could see Luke becoming the if i can't have her noone can type and it played out. Easy to follow and enjoyable.
Felt more elaboration could have been made in some points, the house/money saving situation and the home for thanksgiving to name a couple, would have loved to see/hear more about Lukes departure
