If Scifi is your defining genre then you must prop your collection with the works of Olaf Stapledon. You must be able to point him out on your bookshelf to kindred spirits. If he is missing, you will be called up on it. Odd John is His Masterwork and paired with Nigel Carrington's narration I'm struggling to think of a more potent audio book session. I was rendering a wall through most of it and could literally feel the inferiority of Homo Sapiens in my aching body. In my Top Five.

Near perfect reading of this quirky but absorbing story. Just the right tone of voice for this slightly dated but very modern tale of Homo Superior.

Excellent!
