About this listen

An Oscar winner in 1990, New Cinema Paradise is the best-known film by Giuseppe Tornatore. After World War II, in a Sicilian village, Giancaldo, cinema was the only fun. Little Toto discovers a love for the cinema and for life thanks to the small film Paradise and the work of the projectionist, Alfredo. The film is a hymn of love to the cinema and to the memories of his youth in the homeland of the director, who, in a nostalgic and poetic fit, leads the viewer to relive the warm emotions that only the big screen and love know.
