The basis of the series is bears and wolves from different packs coming together to give the chance at meeting their fated mates. There is a different couple focused on in each book but there is also a plot line that spans the series and keeps you interested.
There are really interesting characters included throughout the series and written well. I only struggled to connect with one, in book three and found him to be hard to listen to. Friendship and love is prominent among the group across all books and I was drawn into each relationship right from the start. It was easy to hear the attraction that each felt and John has done a wonderful job at voicing so many individual characters. I found myself laughing and sad right along with the characters and enjoyed the feelings that came across. John's narration pulls you into the story and the interaction between the mates and friends in the Den.
Definitely recommend, another great series from Susie Hawke and looking forward to hearing the next in the series.

Although it is predominantly a lighthearted, set of stories filled with hilarious situations, and sexy times, there is also a background of loss and impending war running throughout the three books, which is written extremely well.

I like John Solo's stytle and voice, so it was no surprise that I would enjoy this audiobook. He injects fun into the sassy characters. He has a good sense of the characters and how to voice them. I thoughly enjoyed listening to this.

The first tale is all about the Alpha Mikael and the quirky Omega wolf who is revealed as his fated mate. Taylor certainly stands out in a crowd and I love how he and his Alpha mate seem to complement each other perfectly despite their difference in style and size. There are some truly hilarious laugh out loud moments as Taylor tries to become acquainted with the bears of the Den.
The second story follows immediately on the heels of book 1 and introduces Taylor's brother Sean, a bear omega called Colin who gets kidnapped by Yvonne's Rogue wolves, and former soldier Jules, a Jaguar shifter. I love how Jules finds both his omega and also his other mate, Sean, alpha wolf and brother to the Den Alpha's mate, who also happened to be a witness to the kidnapping of the bear omega. This was quite an exciting tale as Yvonne starts to strike in earnest at her brother and his Den.
The third book focusses on Stefan, the Alpha Heir to Mikael (until Mike and Taylor's cub is old enough to take on the mantle of Alpha Heir) as he encounters his true mate Diego, cousin to Jules and a Jaguar omega. There are lots of exciting and dramatic moments in this tale as the war rages on with Rogue attacks on the Den, and also some pregnancy complications for Diego.
Highly recommend for all Susi Hawke fans, true fans of MPreg, and fans of John Solo, narrator extraordinaire...some fantastic accents!

A saucy, fast-paced, little collection!!
Alpha’s Hearts
I loved Taylor. So sassy, fun and unique; a wonderful little peacock! It was predictable that he would end up with the Alpha Mikael but that’s to be expected. It was a thrilling, sassy and snarky adventure for Mikael and Taylor to find, scent and mate. I enjoyed that Taylor stayed true to himself and liked that he rose perfectly to the Alpha mate position. Their knotting was hot and the dynamics between a bear and a wolf shifter was interesting to ‘read’ too. I felt a little lost in parts of this story and would recommend first reading Northern Lodge Pack series to understand the threatening elements in this story and know more of the characters. Apparently, we had already met these characters before in the Northern Lodge Pack Series. After this story, I went onto ‘read’ Northern Lodge Pack Book 6 to understand more about Mikael’s sister, what she had to do with Oskar and the threat she poses that is mentioned throughout this book and into the next story too.
I also loved Alpha Heir, Stefen and look forward to his story. He seemed like a lot of fun and like Taylor, not afraid to be himself! (I also love Steffy-kins relationship with Tay-Tay LOL).
Alpha’s Mates
I very much liked Jules, Colin and Sean’s story. I enjoyed this triad and the unique dynamics between 2 Alphas and an Omega. I liked that Sean, like Colin, was a virgin too, so sweet! These three are HOT together (and I learned things I’m not sure I needed too) and I felt more connected to this story having first listened to Alpha’s Heart and Omega Accepted. I can now follow the characters and threats a lot better. In this story, the pack war and threats are escalating and the attacks in this story were sad as well as added a thrill of danger as this triad found their place together. I look forward to seeing what will happen next!!
Alpha’s Strength
I love Stefen and loved his story. Diageo was wonderful! I enjoyed the thrilling elements as the war against Yuvonne continues and like the ‘real-world’ pregnancy issues Diageo faces. This was probably my favorite story from this collection and I really enjoyed seeing Stefen find his fated mate and see all the other couples continue their happily ever after(s), in light of the upcoming/continuing war.
This collection has set the pace for the continuing war with Yuvonne and has me intrigued to see what’s to happen next and who else will find their mates in this Den!
All in all, great fated mates short story collection but would recommend reading/listening as a continuation on from Northern Lodge Pack Series for the story flow to make sense.
Great narration by John Solo. He does great dialects, tones and had the perfect story flow. Very talented and will continue to be on my top list of narrators!

I really enjoyed this package. Having the three books in one was a great way to really get into the world that Susi Hawke had created.
The characters are fun and hot, and the storylines connect well allowing you to get to know the characters as they develop and the romance is lovely.
The 'villian' plot line developing throughout the series is interesting too and I'm keen to continue the series and see where that goes.
John Solo's narration is solid as always, he brings a different feel to each character and can swing from rugged to sassy in a breath.
