Brilliant book and narration
I loved this audio book!!!
I went looking for something which had the tales of the norse gods, after listening to the loki tales of a bad god books. I was wanting something with equally good narration to go alongside a good retelling of the tales, and this audio book did both brilliantly 👏
I highly recommend this 100%.

Excellent
Pretty sure Niel Gaiman just paraphrased this book to create his "own" work on Norse mythology.
This book is much more attached to the original mythology than Gaiman's ripoff

Good, But I prefered Neil Gaimans Storytelling,
While it's good, I feel like Neil Gaiman turns the stories into fully fletched stories. This seems like you are left questioning things. Or situations are rushed or not even touched upon.
BUT! These stories are made to be told differently just as they would have been told centuries ago. Every village would have had their own versions, and the Icelandic guy who wrote the original was likely influenced by Christianity also in his writings.
My recommendation is to listen to Neil Gaimans Norse Mythology first. Then listen to this.
This book has more characters, and some more details, but Neils simplifies the stories and improves upon them from a writing perspective. Also a fantastic listen on here is BBCs radio version of Neil's Norse Mythology.
Still I want to thank Kevin Crossley and Nathaniel Priestley for this great audiobook.
