I'm hooked on Laura Greenwood's audiobooks and especially like the Academy ones.

Lily was a vampire hunter. Now shes studying alongside them. She's the only human class member and the vampires a curious about her. She has a guard because she is a prisoner. She has been trained to kill and needs to be protected. When the other students find out what she is, can she convince them not to hurt her? This is a romance story between a vampire and a human. It's the first book in a continuous series. This is a full story, however, sets-up a glimpse of book two.

I pre-ordered the Ebook version of this book, however, I've ended up listening to the audiobook first. ARC audio was given in exchange for an honest review.

Oh I was not expecting to find Brice and Lily bonding in the way they did. In some way I am sad that they did not have a longer time disliking each other. But nonetheless I enjoy the book, and look forward to the next one

No Stakes Allowed by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal academy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jodi Gaylord.

I absolutely love Laura’s books! They always leave me with a smile. I really enjoyed the fact that Laura tied in some of the characters from the Ashryn Barker Trilogy. I loved the slow burn romance between Lily and Bryce. I cannot wait for the second book in the series Stakes Are Raised to be released on audible.

Jodi did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like paranormal romances or slow burn romance.

I absolutely loved this book, it's an academy romance with a reappearance of a few characters from the Ashryn Barker trilogy. Lily's a retired vampire hunter and when she has a chance to attend Grimalkin Academy she'll be alongside the vampires she hunted. I was enthralled from the start, and couldn't stop once I started, just waiting to see what would happen next, I'm looking forward to the next book, I need to know what happens next, Jodi Gaylord's narration was fantastic.

Although not my favourite book of Laura's I enjoyed listening to the audiobook.
