A brilliant analysis of how Trump has achieved the ultimate position of power in the USA, and what he and his cronies plan to do with it (and some insight into reasons for Brexit here in the UK). The first 3 sections are gruelling, harrowing, but essential listening to understand how the far right and commercial interests have combined forces to gain political control in America. The 4th section explains what can be done to combat this, and has a (slightly) more optimistic tone. Klein is a fantastic analyst and everyone with an interest in the World should listen or read this, her most important book.

Terrifying and liberating all at once.

After 36 years of being disengaged with politics, hoping to find answers else where, I recognise the need too be engaged, if only to actively participate in new ways of working together against our corporate political grave diggers.

This book will hopefully galvanise more listeners into action.

Klien’s precise attack on the current occupant of the White House is as informative as it is truly terrifying. Though I don’t think this book stands to age that well. It gets to the heart of a lot of what is wrong with right wing American Perspectives and politics. It feels a bit too short If you’re interested in really sinking your teeth into what Naomi Klien’s work is about in general I’d recommend ‘No Logo’ over this, however if your here for the Trump bashing knock yourself out.

Perfectly narrated by Brit Marling, No Is Not Enough gives hope in what feels like a hopeless social, political, economic and environmental world.

For those who are new to Naomi Klien, this also acts as a concise summary of her other important works: No Logo, Shock Doctrine and This Changes Everything.

A must read for any right leaning, daily mail reading individuals. This is a fantastic summary of all of Naomi's previous work, set against the back drop of the current political climate.

An unusually positive book from Ms Klein, this is not so much of a doomsday report as a call for action with clear direction as to how to make things better. Written in a more colloquial style it is easier reading than previous books and other writers of this sort often produce.
The substance No Is Not Enough is important. It needs to be understood. We need to act now. A must read!
