About this listen

The Book of Nehemiah is a book of the Hebrew Bible beautifully told in the form of a first-person memoir by narrator and voice actor Glenn Hascall. It concerns the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem by Nehemiah, and the dedication of the city and its people to God's laws. The events take place in the second half of the 5th century BCE, and together with the Book of Ezra, it represents the final chapter in the historical narrative of the Hebrew Bible.

The man - Nehemiah is such a good example. He was miles away, but he never forgot his roots or his God, neither his people. He set the example and brought hope to a seemly hopeless situation. We need leaders like Nehemiah in our day.

Audible books like this are one of the many tools I believe God has made available in our day to keep our heads in His Word. When motivation is low, when the battle is raging audible can still feel your mind w/the word. It is also a good aid and guide to help you get through difficult books.

The narration is clear and easy to follow.

Beautiful book, Nehemiah is still relevant
