A rocky initial start as female protagonist's traits weren't likable for me. But, soon enough, I felt better about it all. Such a funny story with poignant moments. 😍 Love it!

You almost start off disliking the main character, but quickly grow to feel for her and know how her insecurities came about. The story is utterly funny (I laughed out loud a few times whilst everyone in my house was asleep worrying they would wake up 🙈) and sad and thoughtful as well. The narrators doing an amazing job bringing the characters to life!
This book was my second book by this author and both books were brilliant. I’ll definitely put a few more of her books in my basket.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, witty dialogue, laugh out loud moments, engaging characters. The male lead is a bit up himself, she accuses him of a “holier than thou” attitude and she’s right in her assessment, but he grows out of it by the end and the conclusion is good.
And the narrators are great!

It is super funny,sweet,and sexy.
Loved the banter between them as they embark on a journey together in more ways than one.
Jewel E Ann is becoming a must read/listen author to me,I love her writing.
Troy Duran and Stephanie Rose are Magnificent as always.

At the beginning I wasn't sure of Avery she was a complete spoilt diva but as the story unfolds you learn more about her. Glad I stuck with the story i was unsure at the beginning narration was good by Troy Duran as Jake unsure about Stephanie Rose as Avery she sounded abit like a spoilt child. but on the whole still enjoyed the novel.

This book starts off really light and trivial, then slowly morphs into more sombre territory. Always engaging, I loved the way the author gradually reveals all the layers of the main characters. Lots of laugh out loud bits, but also sad parts. Really beautiful written and expertly narrated.
