I always loved David Suchet in Hercule Poirot Listening to him reading the Bible, in my opinion, took him to the highest level of his talent.

This translation is well read by David Suchet. The recording has no background music, and I prefer it this way. Background effects can be distracting.

Bibles on Audible are not normally very navigable, because the chapters are not very easy to find. However, with the Bible in a year, this doesn't matter, as it's only meant to be heard sequentially.

I started reading the Bible In One Year but fell behind very quickly, so decided to listen to it on audio. David Suchet’s wonderful narration bought it to life in a way that the written page simply couldn’t, and I found myself choosing this over my current audio novel! Genesis beats any modern plot!
