Rai Salig Ram, honorifically called Huzur Maharaj, was a remarkable mystic of the 19th century. Eulogized by Max Muller, Salig Ram was the chief disciple of Shiv Dayal Singh, the founder of Radhasoami. He codified the teachings of his guru and was instrumental in explaining the teachings of shabd yoga (listening to the inner sound current) in a clear and concise manner.
