About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
Amelia Collins is tired of constant questions about her nonexistent dating life, so she decides to get everyone off her back once and for all by finding someone – anyone – to pose as her date to a family wedding. If he's annoying, or embarrassing, so much the better.
Coincidentally, Reginald Cleaves has centuries of experience at being rude, infuriatingly arrogant, and a fashion eyesore. Amelia keeps running into this peculiar man by accident, and it takes less than five minutes for her to realize he’s perfect for her purposes. Because as handsome as Reggie is, no one could possibly want to marry him… right?
As Amelia and Reggie practice their fauxmance and more of Reggie's centuries-old secrets come to light, Amelia is surprised to find her first impressions could not have been more wrong, and that Reggie’s bark might be worse than his bite…
'Bloody delightful!' Ashley Poston, New York Times bestselling author of The Dead Romantics
'Wonderfully weird and sexy as hell ' Alicia Thompson
'A kooky, sparkly piece of happiness' India Holton

SO much fun!
I absolutely LOVED this book (and the first in the series too!)!! An incredibly cute romance novel that I finished within a day. The soft drama (aka lack of intense drama) is also very very welcome and means the book is purely a feel-good novel! 10/10 would recommend (and have already recommended to friends!)

Why is it so difficult to do women voices by a woman , and men voices by a man?
I couldn’t wait to hear the male actor read Reggie’s lines even if it was Amelia’s POV. But imagine my disappointment when female voice actor tried to mimic the guy’s voice. And the worst of it all was when the male actor mimicked Amelia’s voice? I paid to actually hear the book play out as it supposed to be, because as far as I know, talking with a guy doesn’t magically turn his voice into me trying to voice the poor guy. I feel scammed by the way everything was read out. The only satisfaction I’ve got was the email message reading, when they were doing it right all of a sudden. Paying that much money for something that is so poorly done is quite laughable. Not even blaming the voice actors, but like really?? I couldn’t even know from the start that it was that way, If I knew, I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place. I would just make my own male voice in my head instead of having to cringe everytime a male mimics female’s voice.

Great sequel to the first!
Was great to hear about secondary characters from the furst book. However, the story felt a bit bland to me until the last 3rd of the way through. I am looking forward to reading more books from this author though.

Doesn’t Suck! But don’t let the kids listen!!
Love Jenna’s second book. Great story and believable, likeable characters that make you laugh and cry in equal measure. Just don’t let the kids listen!
