About this listen
In this brand-new Grimnoir Chronicles story written exclusively for Audible, it's 1937 - four years after the Grimnoir Society defeated the magical alien force known as The Power. "Heavy" Jake Sullivan is summoned by his oddest ally, Dr. Wells, to stop the bombing of a new ultra-luxury airship. Amid the glitz, the gambling, and the high-society types, Sullivan races time to hunt for the saboteur. But surrounded by a blimp-full of Germans, Russians, Imperium Iron Guard, and other magical enemies - where can he even begin?
Murder on the Orient Elite is available free through 01/01/15.

Just love this series
It's a cracking short story that reminds anyone who has listened to the novels just how enjoyable they are.

Good Story
Ok short story. Nothing wrong with the narration or length but it feels like Correia should have left the main story finished at the end of the trilogy.

Good enough, but a bit forgettable
I'm a fan of the series, but this short story felt a tad rushed and unnecessary. I still enjoyed it and don't regret buying it, but compared to the original trilogy, it seems a bit flat.

A great reminder of a very enjoyable series
Where does Murder on the Orient Elite rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The Grimnoir Chronicles has been a very enjoyable series of books and the only problem with this last one is that I wanted it to be longer. (It is a short story btw).
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoy the whole "Philip Marlowe meets forces of nature altering magic" which characterises this series. Good inventive story telling with good character development and background.
What does Bronson Pinchot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Bronson's performance helped bring the story and characters to life in a way I couldn't have done if reading a book. Excellent work.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
If you're new to the Grimnoir Chronicles, don't start here. Get the first book in the series "Hard Magic" and work your way from there, otherwise some of this short story will have little relevance.

Keep It Moving!!
Jake Sullivan was my favourite character in the Trilogy while Dr. West was the most intriguing morally grey protagonist with his Hannibal Lecter vibes! I was beyond delighted to see MOTOE in the audiobook catalogue because it brought the hero and anti-hero together. Oh dear. Not even my darling Bronson Pinchot could redeem this bland entry. This was bad. Cash-grab bad. Get this if you would like to throw good credit after bad audiobooks. Otherwise, keep it moving.
