About this listen

Mirabelle Daws travelled all the way from Australia to Sheridan Square to visit her sister - only to die in the middle of a locked garden. All the residents of Sheridan Square have a key to the garden - but no-one seemed to know that Mirabelle was planning to arrive.

So the question facing Mrs. Jeffries and Inspector Witherspoon is: who wanted to make sure that Mirabelle's visit was very, very short-lived?

Love this series of books. Easy listening with twists and turns in the plot. The narrator brings the different characters to life.

A great listen

The Mrs Jefferies books are basic, harmless listening. The stories lighthearted but engaging as is this one.

Unfortunately, the narrator has changed and I really struggle to enjoy Marlene Sidaway’s character accents, raspy and blurred.. I am disappointed in the change and struggle to see myself buying
Why does Hatchetts background and accent change.?!

Cosy but ...
