Author Daniel Stirling has created a well-researched, well-rounded, and practical guide from which anyone, teens or adults, can benefit.
Why they don’t teach these critical basics in school, I’ll never know, but this engaging listen takes you on a journey that opens up your financial horizons.
Learning to realistically budget, accurately track expenses, sequester funds for emergencies, and discover exactly how to manage debt responsibly are just a few of the gems presented in an easy-to-understand way. More importantly, each area of finance is easy to apply in one’s life.
I was intrigued by Mr. Stirling’s exposition on the future of behavioral finance and the psychology involved. Who knew?
Shout out to Kelly Rhodes for the easy-to-listen-to narration and for making the engaging writing come alive.
This is an essential read for that teen or young adult in your life…and for you, too!

I think one of the best things about the book is the connection between psychology and economics as far as behavioral finance and how we think about money and how we treat it. The real-life examples are great for listeners to hear because, like most people, they don't think they'll ever be that person who can't control their spending.
Great book for any young adult and would highly recommend parents buy the book to work through it with their kids if they can. Open conversation as talking about money should not be a topic that is not discussed.
Great for the young minds
