About this listen
Restaurant owner Tom Fearnes has loved his partner Cass for as long as he can remember, but their work often keeps them apart. When he meets a striking young man named Jake on the vibrant streets of Camden Town, their heady first encounter takes an unexpected turn.
Jake Thompson can hardly believe his luck when he wakes up in Tom's bed. Tom is gorgeous, kind, and...taken. Tom's explanation of his open relationship leaves Jake cold, but Tom is too tempting, and when hard times force Jake to accept Tom's helping hand, he finds himself between two men who've lost their way.
Cass Pearson is a troubled soul. He loves Tom with all he has, but some days it feels like he hasn't much to give. Jake seems like the perfect solution. Cass risks everything to push Jake and Tom together, but Jake resists, wary, until the darkness of Cass's deprived childhood comes to call. Then Jake finds himself the last man standing, guiding square pegs into round holes, and it's time to dig deep and shine a light for the men he's grown to love.

This is a wonderful tale which is beautifully written and fantastically narrated. The alternating POV is managed brilliantly and I felt like I was listening to three different perspectives and thoughts, not just three different voices. Having read this before I had my own 'world' going on in my head, but listening to it had me realising bits I hadn't really picked up when I read the book - it brought a vulnerability to Tom who was always the strong one to me, and highlighted the way Jake meshed them all together.
I really loved this and would recommend it to anyone who even slightly liked the book (because the audio is like the HD version!) and anyone who us not a typical MMM reader, as I think this book truly works for anyone reading the MM genre who doesn't usually get on with/reads MMM.
Brilliant narration of a fantastic book - loved it!

Felt more real to, as some of MM can be too ful of sex and not enough emotions for me, this was perfect.
Romance at it's finest

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book is great, it's one of Garrett Leigh's less angsty titles (less angsty not not angsty!) And it's nice to have an English book read by an English narratorWho was your favorite character and why?
You have to love Jake, he is a great character and he isn't totally defined by his TS which is niceWhat about Craig Beck’s performance did you like?
Sorry to Craig but I'm being a purest here! As a cockney born and bred I can tell you he doesn't quite nail Cas's accent, but it isn't so bad I couldn't listen so I forgive him, he is very good with Jake's northern accent, not being from Leeds I can't tell you how accurate it was, and reading a book with 3 characters with different accents can't have been easy. I also particularly love his interpretation of Jake's fly me to the moon tick, which was great but different to how I had read it in the book to myself. The one bit he did wrong and although very small it annoyed me as it would be an easy thing to check, was when he sang the first couple of lines of 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles', the West Ham football song. I get that he didn't grow up with his family singing it in his ear like Cas and I did but 30 seconds on you tube would have done it. And he clearly knows the song Fly Me to the MoonDid you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did laugh at points in the book and whilst I didn't cry there were sad bits. Usually Garrett rips your heart out of your chest throws it in the gutter and stamps on it, fortunately this is one of her 'lightheated' books lolAny additional comments?
A good story, well narrated and produced. Worth the listen :-)Forgot how much I loved this book!
