About this listen

What would you do to save a loved one's life? Make a pact with the devil?

In Diana Kingston's defense, it was the middle of the night in the deserted hospital chapel. Surely it was just a dream. She hadn't really sold herself to a brooding stranger to save her father's life, right?

Then she wakes, and her father is fully recovered, and a mysterious letter arrives from the tall, dark, handsome - um, devil? Yep, it was right there on the contract, Lucien Star, aka Lucifer Morningstar, that had been his name in the dream.... Gulp. What would the devil himself want with her?

Sex. Three months of hot, sweaty, Friday-night sex. Ooookay. Breaking a pact with the devil doesn't seem like a smart move. So she'll do it - but she won't like it. Not much anyway.

But she starts liking it - a lot - and every night they spend together, she likes it and Lucien a little more. Being with him allows her naughty side to come out and play, but Diana starts to see more than just a sexy-as-sin, rock-hard...er...

Anyway, he might be Satan, but even he was an angel once. Kind. Noble. And she sees glimpses of that man still inside him... But how in heaven's name do you save the devil from himself?

Contains mature themes.

A real sweet book even dark theme aside. Heartbreaking, bittersweet and a theme not commonly used kept it interesting. A little cliché and outdated that something as natural as sexual desire is somehow bad and sinful but if you can look past that it’s an ok book. Good narration as usual but recommend speeding it up a bit to at least 1.15. Makes it flow a bit better in my opinion.

Dark and sweet

Love love loved this book!
Honestly thought it was really good & I think this story alone could have been drawn out to a few books and I’d of devoured them all!
Listened to it in one day.

Absolutely worth the listen

I thorough enjoyed listening to this audio book. it was exciting and sexy and had all the right bits in the right places. The narrator was awesome and truly helped bring the story to life. I loved the strength of the female character and the wickedness of the male, like peaches and cream they were good together.

A good read all in all

This story was made into an adapted film box set made for TV
obviously the sex part had to be moderated,
Diana was played by FEMALE detective, who meets Lucisfer,,
story lines altered but the love itself was the same.
the film itself had me hooked, ant I got the same feeling with the book,
brilliant story, great value for a free y,

thourerly recommend this book

I enjoyed this book more than I thought. I didn't see the end coming and not in this form. And I mean that in the best way. I'm glad I gave a try to dark romance.

Unexpected

when it started I was a bit annoyed at the explicit scenes, even abandoning for a month or 2, I always feel like some books are just an excuse for sexy scenes andit gets boring, but this was good towards the end

really good at the end
