About this listen

The original Marvel rollicking space opera where the brother Gods of Thunder and Mischief team up to retrieve a deadly, cursed crown.

Long ago, Thor saved the people of Miskander from a rebellious horde. As a thank you for his selfless heroism, he was gifted a crown which he safely stored on Asgard.

Until Loki stole it. The Trickster God has been partying hard as a rock band guitarist and thought it would be fun to bequeath the crown to the lead singer, Nihilator, unaware of its true significance—and the corruptive, destructive influence of its true power.

Joining forces with the Korean tiger-goddess Horangi, a band of space pirates—and Loki—Thor must not only recover the crown from Nihilator to stop an apocalypse, but also redeem himself for the role he played during the so-called revolution on Miksander . . .

Thor: Metal Gods is a collaborative novel by Aaron Stewart-Ahn, Jay Edidin, Brian Keene, and Yoon Ha Lee.

I am enjoying these short marvel stories, they are very good but to short to justify a credit.

Love it

A good marvel "film" turned into a novel. i enjoyed it , but lacked a litte something to be excellent Imo.

Really good

The background noise is presumably there to add atmosphere, but it is too loud and makes it hard to hear the story. Shame as I'm sure this is fine otherwise.

The narrator absolute made this for me; each major player is distinct, and extremely familiar from MCU (you may find this a positive or negative depending on your own view!).

Story wise, I found the narrative impetus somewhat repetitive (talk-talk-fightscene-next location), but after belatedly learning this was originally a serial format rather than a novel, this format actually makes total sense. I will adjust my listening to the others in this publication run accordingly.

Excellent narrator
