Would you listen to Mark Steel's in Town: Series 3 & 4 Plus Edinburgh Special again? Why?
There is something extraordinarily cathartic about hearing comedy that is clever (not unusual) but also well intentioned; there is nothing cruel or dismissive about this body of work, and yet it is not lightweight or floppy either. This would have to be as engaging a body of work as I have ever heard. What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I bought the next seriesWhat does Mark Steel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I am not aware of a book to buy.If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Let me tell you about you.Any additional comments?
This says there is an Edinburgh special included, but I suspect there may be an error with the recording; not only was there none, but the first episode was repeated (ie, I think that this was done very early on a monday morning after a significantly involved weekend)If you want to laugh at yourself, talk to this man
