Book 2 was my favourite, as I prefer a story to be written from both the Man's & Woman's POV, and book 1 is only written from Tessa's POV, even though Jacob Morgan speaks all of Scott's words in book 1.
Book 1 should be listened to before Book 2 though, and the two combine to make a brilliant whole, which I absolutely loved.
I adore Duet Narration, and love Jacob Morgan's Narration. Emily Roya was new to me. She has a wonderful voice and range of character voices.
In my humble opinion, all audiobooks should feature outtakes at the end too 🤣

I know, I know, Jacob Morgan never has a less than stella voice but OMG the audio performance from both narrator's on this duet is A Mazing! the internation, inflections, pace, timing's and emotions, the switching out of their voices for various characters, just all of it is complete perfection from both. don't get me started on the out takes, they are the cherry on the top, I've never heard this before and it was such a great added little bonus.
the story kept you engaged and had momentum, the character growth was good, teamed with the spice made for a really fantastic listen. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Laurelin has done it again. Excellent storyline, and with the duel narration I was drawn in to all the emotions. 5 stars!

I loved this story, the characters and the narration was excellent. The bonus outtakes are a great idea, very funny but also shows how good the narrators are.
