Well developed characters, a bit confusing at times, which means it’s complex enough to make you actually listen,; no drifting off, I like that in a book

This was very interesting, i even found myself slowing down the narration just so thay i could fully understand their magic system and hierarchy. The mystery wasn't predictable and i got eeally invested and finding the girl alive. But beaware, it deals with teenage trafficking and other subjects related to that.
This dystopia i's action packed and you will be on the edge of your seat durimg somenof the battles/fight.
The narration was really good too. Highly recommended.

This was an interesting story, and it was well narrated. Danica has a unique kind of magic you've not heard about before in books. Being able to manipulate tech with her magic is awesome. There's plenty of action as she's constantly on the go, either at a police scene, helping her bestie, or reporting to her family about whats happening in the world

Overall the story was fine, with an interesting world and characters, and it kept me listening. It ramped up the stakes well but fumbled the climax.
