About this listen

Widely regarded as his major work, Crowley's Magick in Theory and Practice is an extensive treatise on magick, a system of Western occult practice synthesized from many sources, including Eastern yoga, hermeticism, medieval grimoires, contemporary magical theories, and Crowley's own original contributions. As important today as when it was first written, Magick in Theory and Practice is essential listening for anyone interested in occultism.

cant get my head around this. just got it out of intest, but cant understand a bit of it. crap narration

Monotone narration mumbo jumbo

Clearly, the narration shows no understanding of the content and was not given any guidance on how to pronounce anything correctly so murders the pronunciation on everything. He's also really monologue. I hoped I could listen to this whilst out walking but it's equal parts spectacularly boring and really badly pronounced. Avoids

Narrator is terrible

whoever is narrating this is an imbecile. he can't even read simple words. he either needs glasses or is just stupid. real shame as this is a really important work of universal scope and should not have been trusted to someone with so weak a grasp of the English language.

find someone who can read

Narrator consistently mispronounces quite common words (it's quite incredible how many), there's also a fairly monotone style and it just seems like it's ripped of libravox

Poor narration

There are so many misread words on every line that it makes the text indecipherable. Horrendous reading.

Bad reading of an interesting text

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The reader has a clear voice, but has no knowledge of the subject matter - which adds a whole element of complexity to listening and figuring what he actually means.

Difficult to follow the constant mispronunciations

Would have been so much better if someone versed in the subject had read it
