I really enjoyed this book. I loved following the character, I felt like her struggles were realistic for the world. it made me laugh a bit, and I have bought all of the rest of the series as soon as they came out.

thoroughly recommend.

Reading the summary for this book probably doesn't actually do it justice, the book itself is a very entertaining listen that tells a compelling enough story, while also dealing with the required business of a book one of world-building and introducing you to the main cast in a sufficiently enthralling manner that you will return for subsequent instalments.

The performance of the narrator is a strong one with a suitably distinctive range of voices for the cast and a pleasant style that ensures you can listen for longer if that is how you prefer.

Overall, entertaining in it's own right and a strong foundation for this series.
