Great story and great listen!
I really enjoyed this audio book, I have previously read the book but it was good to listen to the audiobook version and I enjoyed the story just as much.
When Ana’s father betrays DmItri’s father, Dmitri vows revenge and the best way he he thinks he can do this is by taking the one thing that means more than anything to Ana’s father - Ana. So to save her father and avoid a mafia war Ana marries Dmitri. Dmitri is determined to keep Ana at arms length which is ok with Ana as she despises him. Over the course of the following months Ana a Dmitri start to fall for each other but have to overcome his enemies and his desire for revenge to get their happy ever after.
Th story is well written and the chemistry between the characters is on point. The narrator does a good job and is easy to listen to.

So good
I really enjoyed this book. It’s very well written. It is a little slow pace at first. But gets better the longer you listen. And leave you wanting more.

ARRANGED MARRIAGE
Dimitri and Ana. Her father sells her to the Russian Bratva. Hes the crime lord that wants revenge on her family. Theres great charecter building. Both are strong willed. Both try to deny the connection. Exceptional secondary charecters. A little humor is introduced in plot. Great read.

great storyline
this book was well developed and had an interesting plot that had a lot of depth to it.
the character really drew me in.

Loved the narration of Adrienne Fleming
Because of her father's betrayal Ana has to marry a man named Dimitri and if she doesn't her father.
Neither of them wanted to fall for each other. Dimitri falls for the wilful Ana and she finds herself needing and then wanting his discipline.
We have angst, drama, action and heat.

My first mafia by this author and won’t be my last!
My first mafia book by this author. And they did not disappoint! The narrator was great. I listen on 1.5 and she still sounded fantastic. 🎧 🐰

Wow, I was astounded listening to this book I was riveted to my seat listening to this book, the story was written well and the characters were sensational. Dimitri was at his fathers funeral when some men tried to take what was his, he had been trained by his father so he knew for later when he took over what was his. Dimitri now the Bratva Pakhan that owns the biggest land mass set off for revenge and take something of their's he took a daughter Anastasia (Ana), off one Pakhan and married her for business no relationship. The other two Pakhan's Dimitri had them twisted and blind sided them with his games. Ana was upset her father sold her to pay a debt so now she became his, he was struck by her beauty when he seen her asleep he couldn't let her go.
