About this listen

Impending, inevitable heartbreak never felt so good...

The first time I met Damien Baxter, I told him to go eff himself. The second time I met him, I almost slapped him across the face after he made me cry. Third time’s a charm right? Wrong.

But I have no choice. I’m stuck shadowing him at his company for the next two months. And if I want to achieve my dream of getting into the Ph.D. program I've worked toward my whole life, then I’m going to have to suck him up.

It. Suck it up.

If he has his way, though, the only thing I’m going to be learning from him is how to have my body utterly and completely ravaged and my heart broken. It sounds like a disaster just waiting to happen.

So then, why can't I say no?

Luxe is the first book in Daisy Allen's hot new billionaire romance series, The Baxter Billionaires. It is a spicy, contemporary romance, interconnected stand-alone with no cheating and a HEA.

The two last hours could have been skipped. Else I love the intimate scenes. Someone mentioned it being unbelievable, is fiction believable? We all listen as an escape, if I wanted reality, I'll just stick to my own boring life doing 50/50 with a man who doesn't believe i deserve the world.

Loved the banter

I love an Australian's dodgy English accent, but be warned if you don't as it's the lead male character! The swearing/dirty talk in the 'love' scenes felt a bit OTT, but otherwise a really great standalone story,

excellent HEA story

one of those stories that are perfect for audiobook, romance, billionaire boss, bubbly female with brains, spice, and good message.

Nice story for audiobook - Spice, romance and easy to listen

This is currently free in the Audible Plus Catalogue. Even free is too much to give, because the time invested in this is time you will never get back!

It comes across as childish, petulant nonsense.

This. Is. Complete. Childish Nonsense!

If it wasn’t for the explicit intimate scenes, one could safely assume this was written by a teenager who had never stepped foot in a corporate workplace.
The main male character acts inappropriately from the beginning to the end and the female character behaves like a child, not helped by whiny voice of the narrator

Totally unbelievable
