Lure of the Dragon is the start of the Aloha Shifters series by Anna Lowe. Set on the tropical island of Maui, this book follows Tessa and Kai’s story. Tessa is hiding from an evil dragon who wants to make her his mate. Kai and his shapeshifter friends are her only hope. The other shifters are only briefly introduced in this book, and readers will find out more about each character in the rest of the series.

Maui is described beautifully, and I could really imagine that I was there. I love strong heroines, and Tessa didn’t disappoint. She was fiery and held her own against the shifters. I was a little disappointed with Kai though. He seemed to get away with not explaining things to Tessa, and she ended up finding out most of the information by herself. The story starts off quite slowly, but the ending seemed rushed. Enough to make me feel that there was a chapter missing. The plot twists are predictable, but the story held my interest and some parts even made me chuckle. Fantastic job by Kelsey Osborne with the narration. Overall it was an enjoyable listen.

I was pleased I came across this story, it was very enjoyable with a nice balance of excitement, hotness and likeable characters. I will definitely be continuing the series.

What a great audiobook! There are multiple powerful supernaturals, hot steamy scenes, a hunky alpha, lots of action and intrigue. I love when a book has it all with great characters and an awesome plot. Anna Lowe provides an amazing audiobook and I can't wait to find out more about the mysterious stones and hopefully mates for the others. The narrator put passion and life into the story and brought it to life like a play for the reader. I can tell this is going to be a great series!

Anna's new series is memorising and Kelsey brings it to life beautifully. If you like action packed shifters romance then this will tick all your boxes. Goodies, baddies and sizzling hotness galore! Fell in love with all the boys and can't wait for the next in series.

To be honest I was not sure if I would enjoy this story as it’s been a while since I listened to a M/F shifter book but you know what I really did.
I do love me a bit of dragon shifter romance, they get so territorial.
Tessa needs protection, Kai did not want to protect, his dragon has other ideas.
Lots of intrigue and lots of characters you want to know more about..
Onwards to the next one...

Format: Audiobook
This book captivates your attention from the start, initially the storyline sounds a bit like the TV programme Magnum, the main character is a P.I they are a group of shifters living on an estate as caretakers for the mysterious owner.
Tessa is human and finds herself seeking help from this group of shifters, Kai is drawn to her but what is it about Tessa and the pendant she always wears? there’s more to her than initially meets the eye.
The Narration and the plot kept me immersed in the story and left me wanting to know more about the others especially Silas.
I look forward to reading more by this author.

Book one of the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the heart by Anne Lowe.
Tessa is a private chef hire by Damien Morgan but while there he attack her but thankfully save by a mysterious woman that told her to go to Maui.
Kai is a special forces dragon shifter that with a few friends/team members made a home on Maui.
As soon as he meets Tessa he know something special about her but after a lifetime of mistrust between humans and shifters Kai is struggling with his heart and inner dragon wanting to mate.
Absolutely love this first book. It’s a nice easy read/listen and I really enjoyed that the special force team are different shifters with very individual distinctive characters also loved that it was based in Maui a bucket list place for me.
Looking forward to more in team finding their HEA especially there leader.
