I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of the Pink Flamingo Production review team. This was a quick little second chance romance. It hit all the romance points. Best friend to Ben's sister, grew up with the family as a servant's daughter, ran into each other at sister's wedding and again in New York as adults. Of course, there is a negative aspect when Ben's father hates Brooke because he thinks she is a "gold digger". The narrator did a good job, but prefer at least a narrator that does a male voice. I had to follow closely because I couldn't tell who was talking, Ben or Brooke.

I thought this book was a nice, quick story. I just read the description (after listening) and I think it gives most of the storyline away. It seems to tell just the story of the beginning of the relationship.

Natalie May has a pleasant voice. There are occasional mispronunciations (at least in American English).

This is a feel good sweet romance. Lovely characters with good personalities. Apart from the dad!! I really enjoyed this book.

Cute quick story. I liked the characters. A lot of misunderstandings. I’m not sure but I feel like the narrator might be fairly new. I understood her fine but she seemed a bit inexperienced.

Lovesick is a delightful listen with elements of a second chance, billionaire, best friend's brother, and secret baby romance. Ben and Brooke have known each other since they were kids, which I loved. The storyline follows Ben and Brook over the years and the circumstances that brought them together and the drama that separated them. Lovesick was definitely enjoyable, and I can't believe L.A. Pepper packed so much into two hours. The narration was excellent, further immersing the listener.

This was a story full of Misunderstanding and miscommunications. Be ready for some insta love and some not so instant. Overall I didn’t love the storyline but I liked the character and how well she handled herself and faced her challenges.
