Noah Dixon is damaged goods. After an accident leaves him physically scarred and emotionally vulnerable, dating isn't in the cards, so he throws himself head-first into his retail job. When he's obligated to attend his best friend's engagement party on Fire Island, it dawns on him he's about to spend yet another weekend feeling totally invisible and alone among a swarm of gorgeous men.
That's when the idea of an escort comes in.
After Will Crossen was forced to put his theater major on hold in favor of two jobs to tackle his ailing mother's hospital bills, he tells himself becoming an escort isn't that big of a deal. It's just another form of acting, right? He doesn't expect his newest customer to be the cheery, overconfident sales associate he avoids like the plague at his day job. Talk about awkward. But what happens on Fire Island stays on Fire Island...especially when a smoldering attraction sparks into flames. But between their jobs, Will's massive familial responsibilities, and Noah's vulnerabilities, they don't stand a chance unless they find a way to let love speak louder than their demons.

Beautiful romance
i loved everything about this book. it evoked a wide range of emotions and ticked all my boxes as I'm a romantic.
A new author to me who I will now try to read more from and a great new narrator to me. I'd really recommend this book

Lovely story
Noah did a great voice over of both MC just goes toprove that beauty is only skin deep and people fall in love no matter weather they have scars or not really enjoyed this book

Ok, but repetitive!
Liked the story a lot, but Noah's issues were so repetitive! It was the same again and again - "you cannot possibly like me because you are beautiful and I ha scares...it I'd just because I have paid you". Like, seriously, it was said 20 times. It was frustrating and a bit lazy writing. Would have wished more character development.

Not the narrator for me
Unfortunately this narrator didn’t work for me, I found him to be very monotone and almost AI-sequel.
But the story itself wasn’t bad. I ended up reading it instead

Good book
I enjoyed the book. It was a touching love story between two people who turned out to have more in common than they thought, in part because of problematic secrets that each had which caused them to distance themselves from others. Narration was ok. I didn't have a problem with it because I liked the story.

Excellent story 👏👏👏
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were delightful and I loved the writing. It was a captivating love story with all the feels, I loved the narration and the HEA was perfect.
