About this listen
From Adrian Tchaikovsky, author of Children of Time and winner of the Arthur C. Clarke Award, Lords of Uncreation is the final high-octane instalment in the Final Architecture space opera trilogy.
He's found a way to end their war, but will humanity survive to see it?
Idris Telemmier has uncovered a secret that changes everything – the Architects’ greatest weakness. A shadowy Cartel scrambles to turn his discovery into a weapon against these alien destroyers of worlds. But between them and victory stands self-interest. The galaxy’s great powers would rather pursue their own agendas than stand together against this shared terror.
Human and inhuman interests wrestle to control Idris’ discovery, as the galaxy erupts into a mutually destructive and self-defeating war. The other great obstacle to striking against their alien threat is Idris himself. He knows that the Architects, despite their power, are merely tools of a higher intelligence.
Deep within unspace, where time moves differently, and reality isn’t quite what it seems, their masters are the true threat. Masters who are just becoming aware of humanity’s daring – and taking steps to exterminate this annoyance forever.

Adrian Tchaikovsky: king of the spiders, master world-builder and asker of intriguing questions. His books are packed with thought-provoking ideas (as well as lots of spiders; did I mention the spiders?). One of the most interesting and accomplished writers in speculative fiction
(Christopher Paolini)[Adrian Tchaikovsky] writes incredibly enjoyable sci-fi, full of life and ideas
(Patrick Ness)A thoughtful, sweeping space adventure

Satisfying ending
Good, well rounded, satisfying ending, a rare thing in the genre in my view. Only criticism of the whole series is an overuse of phrases along the lines of: “the thing was beyond all possibility of human comprehension, yet he comprehended it”. It’s ok once or twice but it seemed constant in this one! That’s not to demean the series though, still a 5 star trilogy.

Fitting end to a fantastic trilogy
I really enjoyed this series of books, the story is thrilling and full of humour and the voice artist performance is excellent.
For me this is up there with the best of Adrian Tchaikovsky’s work, accessible, fun and edge of the seat stuff. It has you rooting for the ragtag team of hero’s from start to finish.

Yyyyeeeeessss
Loved the whole trilogy, which was pretty much un-put-downable. Hoping for more stories set in this universe.

Amazing story, Excellent narration
This book is a great end to this series. Such an engaging and deeply considered concept unfolded through a page turner of a story. It’s rare that the narration really stands out but here it does. It’s not just the variety of accents, the characters are each acted and brought to life. I’d like to give the narration one star more than the story as it’s that good, but I’ll not mark the story down, it’s definitely 5 stars!

A fitting end
A satisfying and very fitting end to a great trilogy. I suspect there will be more books linked to this universe but this is a complete story as it stands. Given the propensity for seemingly never ending narratives this is very good to see!

A master storyreller
having read the first 2 books of the trilogy, there was no way I could wait until next year for book 3 so decided to enjoy it on Audible. and so very glad.i did. Tchaikovsky's.sci-fi is so of the moment in terms of character, story line, issues and he conveys this in a way that makes it hard to stop listening or reading.

Great finish to the trilogy
A lot of this book is obviously concerned with tying up loose ends and resolving ongoing conflicts. Which it does admirably. No, it isn’t book 1 or 2. But it’s a great book 3.

This whole trilogy was so enjoyable it’s hard to put into words. A really good read / listen, brilliant world building and characters and a truely satisfying ending.
