I’m quite a fussy listener, but this on my boxes for a good Survival book

it follows five stories at once but it’s fine

fantastic pacing

This is a good start to a series, there are fit different character stores but the author keeps them interesting and I want to find out w he at happens to them.

Good Story

In the British Army there is NO such singular entity as a 'Troop'. A troop is a formation of soldiers with Trooper being the lowest rank held within that particular type of formation.

Annoying use of TROOP.

good story but why an use an American reader on an England base story. please rerecord with an English narrator

Great story - couldn’t finish as I got tired of the American narrator mangling UK slang, locations etc.

Wrong narration

You can't even follow the story it is so confusing jumping through 5 different characters. The author made them look like cowards

The story had potential but ended up ill thought out and preachy with all the characters learning about their basic character flaws and how they should be better human beings within a few hours of an emp happening.
It’s also pretty jarring to have an American narrator reading a story set in England.

Preachy and unrealistic

Repetitive introspection, vocabulary (even in the same sentence) American narrator authentically saying ‘bloke’ and ‘mate’ in every piece of dialogue. Was a free download, but still not worth the money.
On the plus side, lots of stress relief as I yelled at the rubbish I was listening to- until I had to give up.
