A good story, and probably better having listened to the first in the series. Graphic words which are not suitable for the young. In 2 words, entertaining & gripping

I was surprised to read a few of the other reviews. I’ve found this series excellent so far - great story line with plenty of action, compelling lead character in Eva, and great story line.

I like this story more than I thought I would. There’s a lot of action and a decent storyline with likeable characters. Some of the descriptions are really long, and you almost forget what started the long, winding descriptions. There is a bit of gore and the long drawn out descriptions don’t help you adjust to the shock value or at times lends to the flow of the story. Still over all a good listen 👍🏽

Better than the first one which I just couldn’t finish ( and this was after 6 hours of listening)
I decided to give this one a go, as it was a free book.
Narration seems better than the first , which was one of the reasons I couldn’t finish the first.

OK storyline, if somewhat far fetched, medical references incorrect, more research needed! Have to say the narrator let's it down though, no personality breathed into the characters.

I enjoyed this one more than 20/20 although I'm not very interested in the continued plot I did enjoy the main plot of this case. Especially some more of the outlandish parts!

The narrator is fine, I think she suits the main character and I love her voice for Judy.

My main issue is with some of the writing. The author has a need to explain everything, even down to some really obvious things which seem entirely unnecessary. I found some of the explanations come across as condescending like the author believes all his readers are never going to be as clever as they are.

I would read another in the series but only for free, these are not something I would make an effort to look for or to pay for

A brutal but excellent story. Thoroughly absorbing and well narrated. I’ve enjoyed both the Eva Harris books and look forward to the next one

I have never read a book by Carl Goodman before, but what a brilliant story ... I couldn't stop listening. I would recommend this book and will definitely be looking to read more of his books.
