Good pace. Great story. The female narrator sounded a bit too soft/wispy for me considering the lead character, her tough stance & background, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

One of the best books Ive read.
What Emma went through was shocking and her story and journey to recovery with Reed and her new family and heart warming.
Great story and great narration. Thoroughly enjoyed the read.

This story started out a bit slow and I wasnt sure I would continue with it, however it started to gain momentum and the dialogue more interesting and easy to follow.

Its a sad story of a young womens strength and pain, how she navigates life knowing she still has demons on her back trying to crush her. Meeting a man, who has the potential to change her warped perception is a great heartwarming element.

I loved the characters, the dialogue between them was perfect and this was written well and to listen on audible was enjoyable.

This is my first book by this author. Absolutely amazing story, laugh with it, cry with it, root for the heroine and all the characters around. Fantastic narration too. Loved it!
