About this listen

In trying to teach myself French, reading and listening together makes a powerful learning tool.
Unfortunately much of the original text has been omitted, presumably to make the audio book shorter.
This ruined the objective of learning by reading and listening at the same time. Sometimes the audio leapt forward pages at a time and I was left completely lost.
Had I have known that this was going to be such a severely abridged version then I wouldn't have wasted a credit on it.
