About this listen
Walt has a mysterious box hidden in his safe. He has been told it contains a device that can be either a blessing or a curse to mankind depending on who possesses it.
Dr. Skinner comes to Kansas City and convinces Walt that he will use the device for altruistic endeavors. But others covet the device for more clandestine purposes.
It is the classic confrontation of good vs. evil.
The question is: Which one will possess the device in the end?
©2019 Robert Thornhill (P)2019 Robert ThornhillWith his usual superb ability to mix humour and serious issues into a great very readable storyline, author Robert Thornhill finally reveals what it was In that box which had caused such furore. The excellent George Kuch again becomes the elderly PI, recounting the story and giving voice also to the numerous other characters. Like all of the Lady Justice books, Good versus Evil is completely stand alone, although the appreciation of Walt and his pals increases with every book read.
Good book, wonderful series and highly recommended.
Return of THAT box.

When Walt comes to the aid of two men he had no idea that it would finally put an end to the mystery behind the mysterious box currently hiding in his home safe. The two men hire him to find a box, not knowing that he already has it. With all the lives the box has already claimed Walt wants to make sure he is not making a mistake handing it over and learns why the box was in such high demand, wanted by five different countries. Knowing the secrets haven't made the box any less dangerous as governments still want it.
George Kuch does a good job but I didn't like one of the voices he used for the scientist (it sounded to robotic) so only a four star for this performance but otherwise he brings Walt and his friends to life with style.
Good or bad ? I give it a thumbs up
