È tenera e graziosa, si fa notare poco, ma va presa sul serio perché è profondamente saggia. Può essere spiacevole per chi la vive, ma assolve una funzione fondamentale nell'evoluzione della specie.
I timidi sono attenti e sensibili, a volte possono esagerare con la cautela, ma raramente si sbagliano a percepire il pericolo. Per questo non si sono mai "estinti". La loro prudente ritrosia compensa la sventata audacia dei coraggiosi e l'arroganza dei sicuri di sé. Del resto non tutte le culture penalizzano la timidezza, e in alcuni periodi storici essa è stata considerata una virtù.
