This book was the answer to my questions about what it takes to be a successful author. Gundi's book lays out a simple and understandable process to becoming an author. The strategies are clear and relatable. Knowing the practical "why" of each step helped to eliminate confusion, while the targeted timeline adds the needed structure to keep on track. I read the book several time to get the "gist" of the process. I am confident as I delve into week 1 practices that the completion of my first book is no longer a dream.

I've read the kindle version of this book and gave it a 5 star review because it WORKS. So I was delighted when the Audible version became available.

I am a perfectionist and procrastinator - so I have dreamed of publishing my book - but never wrote it.

This book gave me the steps to follow and the MOTIVATION and ENCOURAGEMENT I needed to get my book written at last. I am having it edited and I am planning my book-launch. I am following a 60-day schedule rather than the 30 process because I am travelling.

But Gundi's advice, to write a SHORT book and write it QUICKLY is spot-on. Otherwise, I would have finessed and re-written forever. Instead, I have a solid draft that is being edited by a professional. I would have tried to do EVERYTHING myself, and probably have been overwhelmed. But this book shows exactly what pieces the author needs to do and what pieces need to be OUTSOURCED. And it gives detailed instructions on how to do that.

This audiobook is narrated by the author herself - and I must say she does an excellent job. In fact, I feel that the audio version of the book is much more motivating and encouraging than the Kindle version, as the author’s enthusiasm and confidence comes across clearly.

The only down-side; sticking to the 30-day schedule is quite a challenge. I almost gave up because I am travelling. But once I decided to extend my schedule to 60 days - but still follow the exact same process - I was back in the saddle and feeling confident again and making excellent progress.

I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

This is a great book for anyone who wants to publish a non-fiction book but doesn’t know where to start.

This book really delivers - it takes you through each part of the process, explains why each step is important and how to go about it.

The author narrates this audiobook, which always comes across to me as more genuine, I find it can be really jarring when you listen to an audiobook and the voice isn’t the author’s, especially if you are familiar with their voice from YouTube or elsewhere. The narration is warm and friendly, like you’re learning the info from a good friend.

If you want to write a book to market and get it published promptly with a successful launch, this book is for you.
